This iceberg is just outside St. John's Harbour. I photographed it from Cape Spear just as the fog was beginning to clear; there is still a bit of fog around and I thought it made for a nice, hazy shot.
There is a bumper crop this year. Which means it will likely be a cold summer. This morning there was a 7 degree temperature difference as I moved away from the coastline and went just 15 kms inland!
I used my tripod for the panorama below however I was not able to merge it in PS6 using the panorama feature so I had to do it the old-fashioned way! The stitching is a bit rough, but I wanted to give the berg a bit of perspective.
It is sooo great that the fog offers so many spectacular photo opportunities. Otherwise, a girl might come to resent it :-)
